Below are simple choropleths. We also generate more intricate designs with custom code depending on the clients' needs:

  • Use of raw coordinates for more precise pinning of location data

    • For example hospitals and urgent care centers overlaid on maps of health, pollution, judicial data by census block or county resolution

  • Integration of a t-axis to demonstrate change over time

    • For example spread of coccidiomycosis cases with a census block resolution overlaid on geological data like wind patterns and temperature

The following are from a table called Healthcare_Associate_Infection.csv from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) agencies in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). No normalization for state size, hospitals, or beds per hospital was performed. Numbers presented are the standard infection ratio (SIR) from 01 October 2021 to 30 September 2022.
